Godwin's Law as applied to programming

Godwin's Law states that "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one."

Allow me to put forth something similar: "As a Usenet discussion regarding programming language features grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving assembly language or machine code approaches one."
